the city of boise has a great program for its traffic boxes. you can read about it here. artists are selected to create images to wrap the boxes, which gives the city great public art, cuts down on graffiti and provides an opportunity for local artists to get our work out there.

the latest call to artists had 108  applicants for 24 spots- 19 planned boxes and 5 wait-listed should more funds become available. i was one of the 19 artists selected for a planned spot. i’m so excited! the image above is one that the judges particularly liked, so i’ll be modeling the work on it.
